Reflection for today…The Gifts of Darkness -Marianne Williamson

“Until we have seen someone’s darkness, we don’t really know who they are.

Until we have forgiven someone’s darkness, we don’t really know what love is.”

Beautiful pictures and quotes. I hadn’t thought of light and darkness like that, but it’s so true.

      Jas Baku…
Thank you for the compliments but I cannot take credit for the pictures because they are not mine.
{I just found them on google images}.

Darkness and light are such valuable spiritual concepts.
Darkness is not necessarily negative as it can be used for spiritual growth.

Yeah, most of my images are from a Google search ;~)
But it takes intuition and skill to choose the right ones, and make them into a decent post.

You’re right about darkness, it is part of us as long as we’re sentient being, and without working with it we could not grow.

        * Do you know much about the shadow? It seems fascinating. I’d love to find out more about that!

          Jas Baku…
You are right that it does take intuition and skill to marry the right images to the words and message of your post.

Darkness is something that I am so fascinated by- especially in relation to psychology, mental health, literature and spirituality.
Carl Jung writes a lot about the shadow in his work.
I hope to write about darkness and the shadow in future posts.

Thank you so much for reading and commenting 😉
